After many years of campaigning by residents in Noordhoek, speed humps are being installed. A sterling effort by all concerned particularly since the residents have picked up the tab for most of the cost. Also a success in terms of negotiating with the local authorities to get permission for the installations.
But there appears to be a small problem. What of the plan to improve walkability and permeability in the area. Has no-one noticed the problem? The signage constructs the already limited space!
